Aloha Tea Bees!
Last week I did something I have never done before. I was a little (understatement) nervous but I wanted to welcome a challenge into my life. Do you want to know what I did? Well I shall blooming tell you….
I featured on RBTV, on Youtube, I did a flipping Podcast on RBTV, little old me, on the tubes of you. And guess what, I chatted and chatted without a care in the world until the cows came home. My old pal Rick has a weekly Podcast, RBTV which is awesome and we had a blast talking about various things that succumb to our lives.
We had a beer, we relaxed up a bit and off we began saying our Hello’s and a chilled out dialog began. I have listened to a few Podcasts but nothing religiously so I was far from a pro. I got introduced to the Ladies who Lunch Podcast and boy do they chat some decent topics so I took from that and just didn’t shut the hell up.
Rickofitall, Rick Sumo, Jonny Concrete and Rick Baker the…. we won’t go there, has been knocking up some real interesting Podcasts the past few weeks with some local beauts. They not only capture my interest but I can even potter around my kitchen with my headphones in, chopping up various vegetables and listen along to such interesting people instead of having to break my neck trying to watch something on TV and miss half of it. Podcasts bloody rule!
Rick and I go way back. Way back when we had emo fringes, DC shoes and rocked out to the likes of The Offspring & The Used so we had plenty to talk about. I sort of don’t want to spoil it for you all as I want you to go check it out for yourselves. Links to follow and that…..
Ricks guests are super interesting and relatable and I have enjoyed every single one. Even the one with the MMA fighter, and my knowledge is seriously minuscule on that topic. Rick asks some real great questions that delve deep in to the hearts of his guests and had a way with how he interviews without being repetitive and corporate. In fact, he’s nailed it.
Rick chats to me about inspirations, life and theories and it didn’t half get my thinking cap a capping. The pair of us chatted about social media, music, touring, business and a shed loads more in the hour that we rabbited on for.
Yes, I know I talk to fast. My own Mother told me this a second after this went live, but, I am my mother’s daughter and I learnt from the best.
It was lovely to record for RBTV in one of the older buildings in Middlesbrough. The ones that most people don’t know are there. The ones over the border. The ones with serious character that get overlooked. We recorded in House of Blah Blah and it was such a relaxing environment to get down and dirty on a Tuesday eve in January.
I can’t really do this Podcast justice by chuntering away on her so I am going to link this shiz up and you can go take a peek/listen for yourselves. Go give Rick a subscribe as he works his butt off and listen to my Podcast on RBTV to hopefully brighten up your day.

Thanks Rick for inviting me onto your Podcast on RBTV. I had a blooming lovely time and you are doing a smashing job!
